Tourists flock to 'best beach in the world' with clear waters and powder sands
Anse Source d'Argent, in the Seychelles, was dubbed the most picturesque beach in the world by visitors who praised its crystal clear water and bright white sand.

Brits looking for sun, sand and sea can always make do with
the UK’s pretty seaside towns or Europe’s long stretches of sand, but
there’s one beach that will drop almost everyone’s jaw.
Anse Source d'Argent is one of the most famous beaches in the world –
but if you haven’t heard of it you likely haven’t considered the
Seychelles as a holiday destination.
Located on La Digue, one of the Indian Ocean nation’s largest inhabited
islands, the beach is one of the most beautiful on Earth boasting
crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine white sand and otherworldly
granite boulders.
The unusual geology of the beach means these boulders create huge
formations, picturesque coves and secluded relaxation spots all while
surrounded by outrageously blue water. It’s a sight that will take
almost every holiday makers breath away.
The beach is beloved by photographers, film makers and travelers for
its incredible beauty – making it one of the most photographed in the
world. But, seeing it in person is even better than in a snap.

Holidaymakers who flock to Anse Source d'Argent can enjoy tons
of relaxing activities, including swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and
beach-combing – you’re sure to find some treasures on this paradise
beach. You can also grab fresh fruit and snacks from stalls along the
beach.
The calm, shallow waters of the beach mean it’s an ideal spot for
families and leisurely water activities without worrying about rough
seas. Though, of course, you should always check local weather stations
and tide reports before swimming to ensure your safety.
Anse Source d'Argent is not just a beach but a natural wonder – and
you’ll feel like you’ve stepped off of planet Earth at the dream-like
hotspot. To preserve its natural beauty, Anse Source d'Argent is part
of the L'Union Estate, a large private plantation where visitors can
also explore vanilla plantations, coconut groves, and see giant
tortoises too.
Reviews of the beach are glowing. Over on TripAdvisor, one visitor
said: "Never become bored with this experience of nature and its
unspoiled beauty. Truly exquisite and breathtakingly beautiful. The
beach, natural rock formations, alcoves, and interesting botanical
features make the experience memorable indeed!"

While
another, from the US said: "The most picturesque beach I have ever been
too. Simply stunning! If you go to the Seychelles, you should
definitely visit this beach. It is paradise and the most picturesque
beach I have ever been to." Another added: "We rode our bikes through
the park and then you get to the beach. The walk to the water is a
beautiful path with trees and boulders and views of the ocean. One of
the prettiest beaches around the world."
One holidaymaker added: 'Our final days of our Seychelles honeymoon
trip were on the island of La Digue. Anse Source d'Argent lives up to
it's reputation as one of the most photographed and majestic beaches in
the world. The giant granite boulders and turquoise water left us
stunned. Don't forget your drone!"
A Danish visitor stated that the beach beat the Maldives in its beauty.
They said: "Best beach in the world! And we have been to Maldives,
Kauai and Whitehaven beach in Australia. Amazing granite formations –
like a giant placed them on the beach. Crystal clear water."
